1. What do I need to have to place an order with CheapRXmeds.com?

All you need is a valid prescription written by a qualified physician licensed where you obtained the prescription.

2. How do I place a online prescription drug order?

Ordering is easy. All you need is a valid prescription from your physician. Once you have this, simply complete our application order form and fax it to us, along with your original prescription. Upon receipt, your order will be processed and shipped directly to you.

3. How do I place online prescription refill orders?

Simply contact us toll-free at 1-877-278-5355 or email us your refill request at refills@cheaprxmeds.com.

4. Is it safe to order from CheapRXmeds.com?

Absolutely. It is as safe as having your prescriptions filled at your local pharmacy. The only difference is in the price – we’re much cheaper. Your prescription is reviewed by a licensed Canadian physician, and once approved, is forwarded to our licensed Canadian pharmacy so that it may be filled.

5. How large a supply of my medication can I buy?

You may only order as much as your physician prescribes for you. Also, all prescription shipments are limited to a maximum 90-day supply per medication. Thus, if your prescription is for a one year supply, we will ship you a 90-day supply once every three months. Note: It is permissible to issue 100 tab/capsule quantities under this restriction.

6. Should I tell my doctor that I’m having my prescriptions filled in Canada?

You don’t have to, but we recommend that you do. In fact, you can have them call us if they have any questions.

7. What are ALL the costs associated with placing an order with CheapRXmeds.com?

For each order placed, your total charges include the cost of the medications plus shipping and handling fees for each package sent.  Other fees may apply for select value-added services.

8. How do Canadian drugs compare to drugs from other countries in terms of safety and effectiveness?

The Canadian government has very strict requirements for the manufacturing of medication in Canada. These requirements are very similar to the requirements in many other leading first world nations. In fact, some of the drugs sold in Canada are actually manufactured in the US and repackaged for sale in Canada. Generic medications are all manufactured in Canada under Canada's stringent requirements.

9. How can I contact CheapRXmeds.com?

Easy. Our customer service line is available from 9am-5pm PST, Monday through Friday at 1-877-278-5355 . You can also email us at info@cheaprxmeds.com.

10. Once I place my online prescription order, how long does it take for me to receive my medications?

You should expect to receive your medications within 2-3 weeks from the date we receive your order. To avoid delays, please fax all application order forms and original prescriptions to us at 1-877-278-5359, and use a credit card as your method of payment.

11. What’s the difference between generic drugs and brand name drugs?

When a drug company first invents a drug (i.e. Prozac) that company is the only one allowed to make that drug for a certain number of years (approximately 10 years in the US and 5-7 years in Canada). After this time period, other companies are allowed to make the same drug. These drugs are called generics. The original drug (i.e. Prozac) is called a brand name drug. Brand name drugs and their generics are identical in terms of active ingredients. The generic pills may look different (because they are made by a different company) but inside is exactly the same active ingredient which works in exactly the same way. The only difference between brand name drugs and generic drugs is that generics are always less expensive.

22. What is your return policy?

23. Why do the pills I receive from you look different from the ones I get from my local pharmacy?

Brand name pills normally look different from generic versions, despite the fact that they include the same active ingredient and work in the exact same way. If you order a generic version of your pill medication from us, do not expect it to look exactly like the brand name version that you're used to. Not only that, but in Canada, there are some brand name pills that look a bit different than they do in your own country, even though they contain the same active ingredient and are manufactured by the exact same company. In the case of two different generics of the same drug, they will look different if they are manufactured by two different companies.

24. What are the names of the companies that manufacture generic drugs in Canada?

The manufacturing of generic drugs in Canada are subject to the same strict approval and regulation as brand name drugs, and are used by millions of Canadians on a daily basis.  The manufacturers of these generics include large, well-established and respected companies.  Major manufacturers include Apotex, GenPharm, NovoPharm, PharmaScience, Taro, RatioPharm and Sabex.

25. What's the difference between an initial online prescription order and a refill prescription order?

When placing refill orders, no other information needs to be provided, unless there has been a change in your shipping address, contact information, health, in the strengths or quantities of the medications you're taking, or in your preferred method of payment (in which case, this information needs to be provided).  To place your refill order, simply call us toll-free at 1-877-278-5355 or email us at refills@cheaprxmeds.com.  Be sure to provide us with your full name, telephone number and the details of the drugs you want us to refill (i.e. name, strength and quantity).

Once your prescription has expired (1 year from the date it was originally written), it will be necessary to provide us with a copy of a new prescription issued by your doctor in order for us to continue filling your prescription.

26. How come I can't download your order forms, documents or other promotional offers on your website?

If you are unable to download materials off of our website, it may be because your computed does not have the proper software.  The order forms on our website are in both Adobe PDF format and in MS Word format.  In order to download and properly open these documents, you'll need to have these programs.  This may also be the reason why you are having trouble downloading other documents or promotional offers from our website.
